Did they become Christians so as to bask in twice the persecution?

Doesn't matter, Tziyyon. It's very nice to see a believer with a sense of humor :)

I worded that incorrectly. I meant, nice to see one here on this forum who has a sense of humor. They're underrepresented here :)

Basically...lol...Unfortunately.

Edit:
The "Y" doesn't show at the end of my word, I put it there and it is gone...

In the preview it is there, but when it is posted it disappears...

I wonder which book Paul was supposed to have perverted, after God selected him out of all people on Earth!
( Someone does not respect God's choices very well! )

Anyways, No. They didn't. They chose Christ because God always chooses a remnant of people. He drew certain Jews because He valued certain Jews. But always a remnant.

27 Isaiah cries out concerning Israel:
"Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea,
only the remnant will be saved.
28 For the Lord will carry out
his sentence on earth with speed and finality."
(Romans 9)

if life is just a jock to you then you hardly would find someone religious and making fun with his believes, so grow up slightly a pit and see the big picture and see that we will start with death then we would make a big journey after so my thought in the matter is do not take life as a jock.

They follow Jesus because they have become persuaded against all culture and human reasoning that He is in fact the one true Messiah.

Same as us former Agnostic Pagan types.

They have no true faith they just want to be the center of attention.
