No. I don't believe that it is scriptural either.

There are only a few biblical scriptures that point to the trinity. (I can basically count them on one hand.) However, there are numerous scripture that alludes to them being separate beings.

Here is one Hebrews 1:5 For to which of the angels did He ever say: " You are My Son, Today I have begotten You." and in another scripture it says , the God does not tempt nor can he be tempted. Yet Jesus was. In 1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear witness in Heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit." (distinctly separate beings or it would not be worded as so.) Revelation 2:27 "......as I also have received from My Father;" (how could he receive them from himself IF he were both God and Jesus?)

God is one. We were made in the image of God. In the scripture that says that Jesus is the word and in the beginning the word was with God and was God, I liken that to the fact that in the beginning of my own sons life HE was part of me, he was 'with' me and in some peoples interpretation he "was" me in a sense. Now, however, he is a separate and unique being. This is how I interpret that scripture of Jesus, he was with God, and in a sense he was part of God, but, like any son, he soon is born and becomes a separate being.

No. How can they be the same when Jesus called his Father the only true God? John 17:3.

God the father(in heaven)
God the son(Jesus Christ)

They are the Trinity the three in one God the Father, Jesus the son and the Holy Spirit. You forgot one. :) It's hard to understand because it's supernatural and humans don't understand what's greater then they are.

Jesus is now God, but he is the son of God. I hope that makes sense.

No. He said that He and we are one also. That doen't make me God, but Jesus quoted David: saying, He called them gods to whom the word of God came, why would you stone me for calling myself the son of God?
