1) 3 days in a row? can't be, thats not effective if you work out just your arms 3 days in a row.

2) You need to make a workout plan. i use to workout a body part if it wasnt sore. that surely did NOT work out for me. but once i set a schedule for which day/which body part i should work out. i got results in no time.

To warm up, don´t do it with any weight at all.
Seems like you´re lifting too much weight. To know which weight is right for you, go to a store that sells sport items, try different dumbells, there´s a golden rule: do 15 repetitions with the dumbell and you should feel your muscle working hard more or less on the 12th repetition. This is the right weight for you. If you don´t feel it, or you get tired before, it´s not right for you.
Work out one day, and let your arms rest the next day. Do some stretches, they will help you with the soreness.

Well I am disabled and I have to keep my arms pretty strong as I shove myself in a wheelchair. I have to admit that if you keep to the 3 pound weight for at least a couple of months, and then gradually introduce the heavier weights into your daily routine it will help the muscles in your arms not feel as if you are trying to murder them. I hope this helps. Julie xx

Always skip a day or two before working out the same muscle. Your muscle needs to rest and repair itself and this is when you "grow".

you have to rest one day for your muscle tissues to recover. Drink plenty of plain water.
