God speaks to me but says the Qu'ran is not from him.

Edit to JD Christ himself said it best, if the truth offends you it is because the truth is not in you.
JD you have gone from a Jew who rejected Christ to a Muslim who does not know him.
I do not answer for thumbs up but to share the true Christ.

JD, Do you truly hear from God? You surely must be greater than Muhamamd who spoke with a spirit he did not know.

When Muslims pray, they don't exactly talk to god but instead its a way muslims show their devotion and faith towards Islam and to the ONE god that they believe. And praying is the 2nd Pillar of the Muslims faith. As for reading the Quran, it's not about god talking to them. But instead, it's a book of revelation to the Muslims. In the Quran, you have the muslims law, regulation and many other things that are related to daily muslims life, faith and belief. so, understand that praying and reading Quran is not about having a talk with god, coz as you knew talk is a two way communication.

Islam is a very spiritual religion, and yes, what you've said corresponds with a tradition of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). When I was still a Jew, we were told that GOD prefers us Jews over the rest of HIS creation, but I never understood why; nor did I ever truly believe that.

djmantx, stop attacking Islam with your silly comments; as you're actually harming yourself by making yourself sound funny. Ever noticed the myriads of thumbs down that you're accumulating; not to mention your sins ;-)

When Catholics celebrate daily and Sunday Mass, God becomes present there in the church with them ... in a real and substantial manner ... not just spiritually.

Then we pray together, we reminisce, we fellowship, we have a meal together, and we literally become one with each other, just like it says in the bible.

For a little while, it's as close to the reality of heaven as anyone still alive and on earth, can get.

Anyone else have similar?
