As a person would have to hit the lotto of every state, everyday, for a million years to come close to the odds of an entire universe and life within that universe spontaneously generating from unknown origins.

Seriously dude go posts these statements on the biology section. Unless of course you know that you are full of it and know your arguments will get torn up within five seconds. Btw, I'm going to post your statement on fstdt.

If the origins are unknown, then it's impossible to calculate the odds of an entire universe and life to spontaneous generate. Maybe those odds were 50/50.

Besides, Believers are the only ones that claim that all life spontaneously generated-maybe that's why Christians are so into bingo.

What are the odds of the universe coming into being from a singularity? What are the odds of what we call simply life emerging from raw materials?

Please enlighten us on these odds. Just because something is random does not make it feasible to assign a probability to it.

We dont even know what the first forms life were, so how can you stick a probability on it?
Also, chemical elements have affinities for eachother and arrange in organized groups according to their properties. The formation of life is partly random, but not wholly.

Also, to the best of my knowledge, God came from unknown origins too. So, you need to come up with a more well defined model if you're going to bash Science.

a million years you say? the earth is 4500 million years old. even if you consider that there is evidence of life on earth as long ago as 3800 million years ago, and earth was inhospitable for maybe the first 400 million years, that still leaves 300 million years for life to form, which satisfies your requirements 300 times over. so what's the problem?

also did you notice that someone usually wins the lottery? it's not necessary for you to win - just for someone to win.

We know what you've been reading/listening to don't we.
Your question/statement has been beaten to death, yet still fills the minds of the gullible.

When I checked your "profile" I fully expected to discover that some child had posted; you sir are old enough to be able to perform some fundamental critical analysis prior to regurgitating something you've heard.

Sure, it's not terribly probable, but in that billion to one chance, there is always the one. And in this case, the one happened. Give things enough time, and things like this tend to come up. *shrug* Don't mean I'm going to go out waisting my money.

So, I guess that some one or thing blowing on a piece of dirt and "poof" there was Adam is easier to believe than thousands of pieces of evidence...You make me laugh every time I read one of your illogical posts.

Yup, and world has had billions of those years, and the universe probably a number we can't even think of...so it's had plenty of time for that chance.

You can make up numbers until the end of time (Creationists keep increasing the numbers because they can't find facts.) Back up your numbers with facts, or admit you are liar.
