Dec 25 is cold in Bethlehem making birth in a manger difficult. What does Dec 25 really mean?
Jesus Christ was visited by 3 Wise man of the east called Magis during his birth. What is a magi? A magi is a resident of a tribe in Media who embraced Zoroasterism, later priest and astrologers in Zoroasterism are called Magis (Please refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magi).
Zoroasterism is a religion founded in Persia 600 years prior to the birth of Jesus Christ. The founder of Zoroasterism is Zarathustra (Zoroaster) who at the age of 30 believed he had seen visions of God, whom he called Ahura Mazda.
How about Mithras? Mithras is a deity in Zoroasterism like Jesus Christ. "I created him" Ahura Mazda declares to Zoroaster, "to be as worthy of sacrifice and as worthy of prayer as myself" (Please refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mithra). Like Jesus Christ only before him historically, Mithras gains the title of "Judge of Souls" and is assigned the domain of human welfare (which he shares with the Creator) and was also conceived thru virgin birth.
The feast of Zoroasterism as well as the off-shoot Mithraism is Dec 25. The date could also signify the introduction of Zoroasterism to Jewism (when the Magis visited the Jewish Christ) which we now call Christianity. Hmmmm Zoroasterism influenced christianity, is that all?
Some Zoroasters fled to India during the persecution of all most all religion (including Jewism and Zoroasterism) in Persia during the reign of Darius I, they fled from Persia to India, where they are called by the name Parsis. Hinduism appeared in Persia in 500 BC, a hundred years later after the foundation of Zoroasterism. Ahura Mazda becomes Varuna and Mithras become Maitreya in the Indian pantheon. They are both Asuras in the Rigveda. (Please refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varuna) Hmmmm Zoroasterism influenced hinduism, is that all?
Buddhism is also known as Buddha Dharma or Dhamma, which means roughly the "teachings of the Awakened One" taught by Siddhartha Guatama in the 563BC, an Indian hindu looking for enlightenment. Buddhism spread all over Asia which includes but not limited to China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, etc. Hmmmm Zoroasterism is the grandfather of buddhism, is that all?
In Hinduism, Dyaus Pitar is Akasha, the Sky Father. This is where the word Zeus came from. Hmmmm is Zoroasterism the grandfather of greek mythology? Dyaus might also be the root word for Dionysius.
Anyway Dec 25 as we know today was actualy proclaimed by Constantine of Rome. During his reign there was so many religion in his empire and he is afraid that the empire would be divided. He claimed he have a vision of a cross and a voice saying "With this sign conquer." He proclaimed Christianity as official religion of the roman empire, consolidated much of the beliefs of other religion with that of christianity including the Dec 25 christ birthday.

Those who believe that Jesus birthday is on December 25, in the year 0 probably believe that he is a white guy with blue eyes and long brown hair.
The story of the messiah being born of a virgin was believed and told many hundreds of years before the birth of Christ. It is possible that others wanted the public to believe that Mithras, Dionysis, Zoraster (and others) were the Messiah for their own benefits.

Jehovah's Witnesses don't get entangled with Saturnalia or the different pagan competition that's made to look like a Christian trip. it would be observed that the Magi arrived a million-2 years AFTER Christ became born. So it became no longer for his birthday, it became to pay him homage believing he's the hot king of the Jews. Mat 2:2 "the place is the king of the Jews that has been born? for we've seen his megastar interior the east, and function come to do him homage." Homage (proskunesai interior the Greek) proskunesai can mean honoring the two a king or a God. Proskunesai may additionally mean a type of worship. became Jesus purpose of coming to earth so as that all and sundry can worship one yet another on Dec twenty 5th or became there a extra robust purpose in hand?

Paul was a scammer who wanted free room and board - he just needed a story to spin - heard about a Jesus bloke who'd done some illusions so hung the standard God-Man story on the Jesus skeleton.
Voila!
A 'new' religion that scammers have been selling successfully for almost 2000 years - one of the best money-spinners of all time.

Christianity has a long history of co-opting bits from other religions ... it makes it easier for the new "converts" to be assimilated if their traditional religious celebrations are "coincidentally" at the same time as those of their new religion, namely Christianity.
A cherished tradition of war and conquest: tell the conquered that they have been misled and that their god or gods / goddesses are really "the devil." Prez Bush was simply trying to lay the ground work when he said that the Jews and Muslims in the Holy Land should get together and work it out "like good Christians."

Read your history, ALL of it.
Those of us who know better, recognized His birth last Thursday, 9/27 on the feast of Sukkot.
The Emperor Constantine changed the pagan sun god birth date to what is now commonly called Christmas after 300C.E..
Most scholars know this information. Most Pastors I've talked to don't have the Backbone to teach it.
I use to allow this to stir me up, but God is the judge who will ultimately decide these matters.

they are the same, when trying to outlaw paganism it was far easier to allocate him the traditions and holidays of gods that were already popular. not to mention that when christians say 'amen' its an indication of the influence of egyptian religion, which includes titles that were already owned by Isis.
'queen of heaven', star of the sea'. a study of egyptian religion shows that the lords pray was originally egyptian too.
christianity as it is today is an amalgamation of many ancient traditions and is constantly being revised to suit the powers that be.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.
