are you saying that You are a non-believer? bc...then this question doesnt make sense. or are you just challenging non-believers?
i'm a believer in God, in Jesus, in His power over death. i believe in the devil too. he's real, but he's not more powerful than God. God created the devil. he was originally an angel, but since he rebelled against God, he was cast out of heaven.
In the end, i believe that like it says in the bible, the devil is going to be thrown into a lake of fire forever.
So, when that happens, everyone will see that God is who He says he is. and that he is way more powerful than Satan. :)

Why can't the Lord get into atheists? He created us all.
As Bob Dylan put it best; "it may be the devil or it may be the Lord but you gonna serve somebody". As long as there is life there is a choice. Satan can't do anything without God's permission. Both believers and atheists can allow wrong thoughts. But both have the free will to choose to listen to those thoughts or not.
You can be tempted but that's your own fault. If you hate drinking then a whole ship carrier of booze won't tempt you. BUT if in reality you'd like to try it just wouldn't for whatever reason then you're tempted even before the offer.
Now if you're talking possession the person has to allow it at some point. Most atheists I know believe in neither God nor the devil so how could he allow it to be? God has no desire to possess a person's soul. He wants the soul to be offered freely. Even those possessed by the devil can be freed at God's word.
The devil was created by God as an archangel who rebelled. No more, no less. Only his pride and cruelty in wanting to see others suffer as he did sets him apart. No special powers beyond any archangel.
Now you can be given over to a seared conscience. But again few atheists make a decision to do wrong over and over again. Most just choose to live their lives without Him because they've never seen a reason to believe. Not they want to sin. I know one atheist that is more morally conscience than alot of christians I've met. It's really not just black & white.
As for the devil being stronger no way. Not even a close imitation.

the word here is choice- yours, that is. Either you can allow the devil to "get into you" or allow God to save you through Christ- the devil has no more power then we give him, Even if you say you do not believe in God or the devil, you are making a choice for the devil when you reject God. No God is stronger, we have the victory through Christ, Satan himself knows his future.

No he is not stronger. He is much weaker. The problem is that people are ssoooooo weak. God gives us free will. He does not chase us down for our loyalty, he wants us to come to Him because that is what WE want. The devil on the other hand knows he is weak and he knows he has to work hard for every soul, so he will chase you relentlessly. Also, as far as God not being able to "get into atheists," I wish I had a nickel for every atheist I have known that, when they find themselves in a bad place, all of a sudden they cry out for God's help!

Based upon the premise you present, it would seem so. However, as a point of fact, the concept of the devil was created in the past. The lovely Christians converted all "non-believers" on threat of death...when the new converts prayed to the Christian "God" for help and received nothing, some decided to pray to the 'devil' or "Satan" in anger / revenge / frustration / etc.
For anyone who reads this, let's make it perfectly clear that Pagans do not believe in the devil / "Satan" anymore than atheists believe in "God."

It's just their way of cutting off debate over religion.
If Satan is responsible, than certainly believers cannot take the non-believer seriously, right? Same with fossils or the speed of light or anything that conflicts with a fundamentalist view of the world.

Sin comes from with in. The devil can not hop on nothing unless you have thought of it. Sin comes from the heart. Now if you dont have nothing in your heart to want to follow or believe in God, then how is God going to get you to love Him. When Jesus came to earth, people still didn't believe Him after all the signs. it was because they didn't want to. That ment changing there life style. That ment sacraficing. That ment living for a higher meaning then themselves. They didn't want to. The buttom line is if you do not want to believe in God you wont.

I'm pretty much with Jack (except not too sure Jesus even existed).
A non-believer might not necessarily be an atheist entirely. Though I do think in part if you lack a belief in God of the bible or any god period in that sense you are an atheist....at least in part. Your question is rhetorical. I'm not even sure you really want an answer, at least a serious one because your own answer in pretty much in your question.

your answer lies in the question. the devil(satan) was an angel cast down from heaven by god .if you don't believe there is a god then you would have to be pretty lame to be taken in by satan.
again i will ask you,are you sure your not an agnostic ?because atheists don't acknowledge satan.

How about this: If I can't get into God but can get into the devil is he not the better of the two?
