OK, so these are dwarf hamsters.
The baby is just defending itself from the bigger adult hamster. Not uncommon at all. In the wild, the babies have to be fast and somewhat aggressive to survive, and just by smell alone the baby knows that adult is not of his colony or clan. As long as the baby is just "punching air" and the adult is not being aggressive or harming the little one, I would leave them together.
Now, I hope you know what you have there in hamsters. If the young one is a male, and the female adult is of the age she can have babies, you may soon have LOTS of baby hamsters!

What kind of a hamster did you get? The Teddy Bear hamster is a solitary hamster and shouldn't be put in with another hamster unless you plan on breeding and even then you need to know exactly what you are doing or they may kill each other. Please separate your hamsters right away until you find out what kind you have. The only hamsters that get along with others er the Russian hamsters and even that is not a guarantee.

Please separate them right away!

The baby hamster is scare of its partner. What I suggest you to do is to separate the baby hamster and let your baby hamster get used to the enviroment 1st in another cage covered with a towel (if you had extra cage).

Stress can kill your baby if not handle properly with care.

if you hamster is squeaking, they could just be play fighting, if you want to make sure that they don't hurt eachother, here is a website that can help you get your little dwarf hammies along:

i think of Twinkle is an somewhat stunning call, and "tinkle" is the bathing room euphemism, no longer Twinkle! have exciting with your hamster, and be beneficial to do your study to grant it the terrific care achievable.
