Okay, I asked a friend about Mormon faith and he told me that Mormons believe Jesus was conceived by Mary and a god-like holy man. Not God though.
Is that true?

Sorry. I am ignorant about your church, but will openly admit it.

We believe that Jesus was the literal son of god in both the spirit and flesh, but not exactly sure by which process Mary become impregnated.

We dont believe in the trinity. So we believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost are 3 seperate beings, just one in purpose. Jesus was not God.

That would be incorrect.
Mormons believe that God is the father of Jesus Christ. While some call this the immaculate conception, Mormons do not have any special terminology for it. It is revealed in scripture regarding how it was done. Mormons believe as the Bible states. God is the father, Mary was the mother of Jesus. Accordingly, we believe the Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of the Father.

Christ was conceived by our Heavenly Father, thru the power of the Holy Ghost. HOW this was done, we don't know. And, personally, I don't care. It was done, and that's all that matters.

The confusion comes when past leaders have tried to describe a delicate matter in a delicate way and indelicate people have twisted it. But, what they were saying is that Mary had a normal pregnancy like any other woman, had a normal childbirth and had a real baby, albeit with half His DNA from a HEAVENLY Father, not an earthly mortal one.

NO

Jesus was born of Mary even though she was still a virgin. She conceived God's Child through the power of the Holy Ghost.

In the mormon book the journal of discourses, not doctrine, but just a book, wrtten by a prophet, it is described as consimation between Mary and the Father, this then becomes more like father/daughter incest, which is why the book is not doctrine, I try to think of it as artificial insemination, mary and the father were suppose to have been married in heaven before she came to earth as well. And the catholic church thought they were having such a hard time with their preists.

Your honesty is appreciated. We believe that Jesus was conceived by Mary. We believe that Mary was a virgin, just like other Christians do (meaning that she did not have sex in order to conceive Jesus). We also believe that Jesus was the only begotten Son of God. He inherited certain divine attributes from God the Father, and he inherited certain mortal attributes from Mary. The details surrounding his conception are unknown, but we do believe it was a miraculous virgin conception.

No your friend is wrong. We believe the same story about Mary/Joseph and Jesus as everyone else. She was a virgin...donkey ride to Bethlehem...

Never heard that one. Sounds like he misheard his (most likely crappy) seminary teacher. Ask him to show you where he got that info.
It's not true anyway, we believe Jesus is God's son. All you have to do is read the Book of Mormon to see that.

That's alright. As least your intentions are honest.

Christ is the son of God. Plain and simple. Your friend was mistaken.

That's what the Baptists believe, unless I'm mistaken. You got your churches mixed up.
