millions of people wear nooses from there necklaces and would there be nooses from the tops of churches everywhere .
( for the record , religion is extremly interesting to me which is rather ironic considering im an athiest)

That makes sense. If he'd been killed nowadays we'd be wearing little electric chairs or rifles or something like that. Although a rifle would be a little arbitrary.
But it pretty much had to be a cross because 400 years earlier or so, Isaiah the prophet said the Messiah would be hung on a tree.

Gr8 question. It would be pretty funny watching millions of people wondering throught the street already wearing nooses. If one of em pissed you off you could just grab the rope and tie it up high and let em fall. You can't do that with crosses.

No, the tradition of the cross was around before Jesus (Osirus, Mithras). If Jesus had been hung, they'd have said he was crusified on a cross.

You got it twisted around, judas hung himself from a rope, and Jesus was crucified bcuz that's the way it was to be. For the record, I'm a Christian I just don't see it within myself to speak such bitterness and hate, so what is it that you fear from us?
