Ask her to show you, to give you a lesson or two. This can even be fun, and you can celebrate when you are both confident with a nice lunch somewhere.
There are professional teachers too, but it is not cheap :)
And here are some online resources:

Put your fork down next to your plate between bites.Chew slowly with your mouth closed.Dab at the side of your mouth with a napkin after every few bites.Hold your glass with your pinky sticking out and take short sips not big gulps. Always keep your posture straight your buttocks and back should be against the chair back.Don't lean clear into your plate unless your eating soup or spaghetti.Being a lady is a lot of work.LOL

If your going to be of dating age soon your mother is a few years late in teaching you. Table manners should be taught starting when you start sitting at the table instead of a high chair. Ask your mother to start teaching you. You could also check on books that explain etiquette. Good Luck.

Do you really care what other ppls definition of it is?
Do you really want to date someone that cares about how you eat?
No one your age cares how you eat anyway. They might care later but only when you're at a place that requires special etiquette.
Don't get roped into stereotypes. A lady now is completely different from what your mother remembers and you don't have to be defined by archaic notions of gender.

You need to find out exactly what she means.
For me, that would be that you don't overstuff your mouth, but take smaller bites. Chew with your mouth closed. Use your napkin properly. When loading your plate, don't stand up and reach across the table, but ask to have the dish passed. Don't talk with your mouth full. Sit up straight... those kinds of things.

As long as you can use a knife and fork without looking like a neanderthal, you chew with your mouth closed and don't talk with it full, you're pretty much covered the main points. Knowing which side the bread sits and sitting with your legs in the right place is pretty much negligible, and I doubt anyone will care very much at all.

She means table etiquette...you need to know when and how to use every utensil placed neatly on your table and how to eat politely..it's a good thing to learn...perhaps your mom knows you are going to date a well-educated guy...and she doesn't want you to embarass yourself at the table

Keep your elbows off. Napkin in your lap. Do not take a drink while still chewing food (this is SO nasty). Chew with your mouth closed. Don't eat too fast.

ASK YOUR MOTHER!! She has issues with you eating like a pig, find out what those issues are and try to correct them.
Mom's get paid big bucks for having answers to questions like this.

I agree with SC; the best way to guarantee pleasing your mom is to ask her to teach you what she would like you to do.
