Israel did to stop the Palestinian. What would the reaction be in this country and around the world?

I think the reaction would be very good in the U.S.
Who cares what the rest of the world thinks.
What's all this "racist" stuff?
There are only three "races;" *******, Mongoloid, Caucasoid.
"Hispanic" is not a "race" it's an "ethnic" group just like Celtic, Tarter or Saxon.
Also, you're "race" doesn't matter one bit if you're in the U.S. illegally.
You're a "Criminal."

If a ":smart" wall comprising physical and virtual barriers would prevent 400,000 out of the current 700,000 illegal immigrants annually from entering (a conservative estimate), there would be a well-deserved revolution in Mexico that would take 80% of its population out of the hidden economy creating more wealth overall in the long term. This would make Mexico less corrupt and a better NAFTA and NAU partner..
The problem is in the short term, the $500 billion dollar annual trade between Mexico and the U.S.would be disrupted.. The other probem is the Mexican elite have all the control and they don't want these dark-skinned, uneducated, poor people in their country, and they especially don't wish to see them prosper.

If the international community awarded a populated chunk of northern Mexico to the US, and the US kicked all the Mexicans out and built a wall around that, then I think the situation would be more comparable.

You have to get into a politician mind, the border is not open , nor is closed, it needs to be "regulated" accorded to the economic situation of the country. Here in Orlando ( mexico) upss... i mean Florida every month, more and more and more illegal workers came and nobody seems to care about., instead they are more encouraged to came by lawyers, lobbyists and the media., Is important to understand that we are not against inmigration.. we are against ILLEGAL inmigration. is this hard to understand ? what they are doing is draining the country sending all the nation capital to their countries.

Think about it, a country that is sticking up for itself. Mexico encourages its citizens to get american dollars to send home to momma. Once a nation loses it's identity, it is sure to suffer. So this would be great for our country, and who cares about the world's oppinion. We haven't cared about them anytime lately, so hopefully that won't deter us. Funny how securtiy for a nation is up to different nations.

If that is what it takes to keep the illegals in their own country, then so be it.

Where is the one they were supposed to build, and who give a ratsass what other countries would say, this is our country and we can protect it.

I think most American citizens would be jumping for joy

If we do that, then we're also going to have to do that with our borders with Canada or else that looks racist. The government really needs to think things through. But yet again, the American Government wouldn't be the American Government if they actually used their brains.
