Christianity- Is the belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

Is that about right?

Well put, but too linear, and you missed the beginning of the story...

"In the beginning, there was The Word. And The Word was, 'I Am.' "

I heard this sung as a repetetive round in a Gospel church, all black, where I was welcomed like the Prodigal Son, even though I am white. Their welcome and the words of what they sang made me better understand the Christian point of view, which does not follow our rules of time. The song went like this:

"You don't have to kill the lamb any more.
You don't have to put the blood on the door.
Someone has taken the place of the lamb.
He is the great I AM."

In other words, God is the Alpha and the Omega -- the beginning AND the end. Unlike us, He never begins anything until he ends it.

If you think that Christians have a warped sense of understanding may I suggest that they do not see it the way you have put it. If you do not have any idea how the transcendent works I do not blame you for the twisted way you may see things regarding the mysteries of the Christin faith.

Yawn...Lets see, there's been over a dozen different questions asked, using the exact same quote cut and pasted from the internet.

So, I think this is worthy of a drink...just for sheer repetition.

Oh...yawn...and yes, from a certain point of view, you're right.

and from a certain point of view, you're full of crap.

So, take your pick, right or full of crap, it's all the same thing.

Ok, that was good. Mean, but good. I essence, that is a correct analogy of the Christ story. Even the zombie part, simply because he died, then rose again from the grave. Zombies are the walking dead, so that even fits into it.

That sounds about right. Personally, though, if I were gonna read a comic book like the bible, I'd prefer Spiderman.

2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Hey! If Frye from Futurama can be his own grandfather, why can't Jesus be his own father!?

You make it sound like it was cartoonish and stupid.
