Well, he is actually a verizon fios guy, and for people who dont know, it take around 6-8 hours to install verizo fios internet in your house, so how much you think i should tip him when he comes? i was thinking if its fair, or too little ( i live in NYC)

I generally do no longer tip the cable guy, their salaries are not based on information like waiters or comparable service artwork stress human beings. yet whilst they're offering good service, i like to furnish a bottled drink, or in step with danger some cookies. in basic terms a small "thank you".

I tipped a plumber $20.00 recently because I felt he worked hard and completed the job.
It's really based on what you can afford, and how good of a job you think he did.

In my case, I may need this plumber to come back for another task in the future, so I want him on my side, so to speak.
If you think you may have to call this Verizon tech again in the future keep him on your good side. He'll remember you.

I think he is paid well by the hour, what is the obcession to tipping everyone? Let the man do his job and earn his salary.
