I have no comments--we DO have the power to create and destroy. The only difference between us and God is we misuse this power to create weapons to destroy others...and we have the choice to either recreate our society anew or destroy ourselves in the process. Until we realize our individual potential as a race made in the image and likeness of God, we are doomed for the latter.

If we are God, then why do we commit so many acts of violence and hatred? If we are God ourselves, then why is it that we can use our money and willpower and brains and resources to buy ourselves a new cellphone or make ourselves a new car, but cannot figure out how to feed the starving or give jobs to the poor? If we are God, why is it that prisoners of war are still beheaded and treated brutaly? If we are God, then why are so incompetent to stop destruction in this world?
I will tell you what I believe. We are put on this Earth as a test. It takes no faith to believe in a God that we can see, and hear, and touch. However, if He tests us, puts us through tough times, and THEN we still believe in Him, then we know that we truly are faithful. I believe that Jesus the Christ was sent to Earth, died upon the cross for our sins, and rose again the third day as the Scriptures predicted.
Take a look at the world around you, my friend, and inside of yourself, and look at all of our collective iniquities and shortcomings. We are not God. If we were God then little children would not be raped coming home from school every day. If we were God then the little boy with glasses and a different way of thinking would not always be picked last on the playground. If we were God then 400 thousand people would not have died in Darfur. But thanks be to the true God who loves us despite our sins and iniquities, thanks be to the true God and His Son Jesus Christ, the one mediator between God an dmen, that we can be imperfect and still receive His forgiveness and love if only we believe in Him.

This is not anything new. There are certain sects that defend this idea. If I am not wrong Metaphysics believe that we are all God. I talked to a lady once and she said to me "imagine a pool full of water, then you get a small cup and fill it up with the water of the pool. The components in the water of the pool are the same inside the water of the cup. We are the cup, the pool is God." She says that we all are God and we are all one. She said we are the owner of our destiny, we choose to win or lose in life, we bring suffering to ourselves. After death, we go back to the whole thing again... like an energy container.
Make sense? Yes. I can understand and even accept the concept. However, I still need the faith kind of food for my soul. That doesn't mean that lady is wrong, we just are in different levels of understanding/knowledge. Maybe I am still kinda inferior...
Peace!

The concept of all living beings are God (including humans, birds & animals) is a part of Hinduism
All living beings are termed Brahmans = equivalent to God.

Welcome to the Renaissance!
People came up with this idea a while ago, that human beings were sort of imperfect Gods, and that through spiritual reflection and meditation they could return to that God status.
However, you could be totally right and we wouldn't have known. The groups of people who thought this were labeled heretics by the church and all killed in the Inquisitions or died out over time leaving very little behind. You could be right, though. Who knows?

No, there is a powerful God with no limitations. We are only something through Jesus, without him we are nothing. God is in full control but it is man's heart that is evil continuously. i have experinced the power of God many of times.
DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

We can create and destroy but to be a God ,you have to have the ability to create from nothing.Or as the book of Hebrews says "By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God,so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible."
Do that and maybe you can be a God.

this is a very new age concept. Actually this is thing satan tempted adam and eve with. He said that if you eat the fruit you will surely not die but your eyes will be opened and you will be like God. God is perfect, I'm not. We are not alike in that sense.

You may be on to something here.
But perhaps it's possible that a part of each of us is a part of God.
The rest of each of us is our ego and desires.
Maybe as we extinguish our ego and desires, that which is God will become more prominent, even if only to ourselves. . .but isn't that enough??
