Yes, the explanation is faulty.
What the real message is that God is not going to destroy the earth. That only 144,000 will go to heaven as part of those bought from the earth by Jesus blood.
The rest of those who do what God Requires, will live on the earth without Satan messing things up.
The points you brought out were what I used to ponder over, many years ago, by reason of the inadequacy of the logic by mainstream Christendom, I looked for a more consistent answer and found it.

Your problem is that you keep hearing people who claim to be christian, but are the secular christian instead. That is the group who teaches their children to believe in santa, dispite being told that no lie is a good lie.
God has not changed His mind in the creation of Earth. There will be a rebuilding of the Earth once this battle with Satan is complete. God made a promise, and He will keep that promise to let Mankind make its own decisions.
Most of the "the devil made me do it..." is not the devil's work. The only way that Satan has any power is when we, the people, give him our power.
Sorry to say that you have no knowledge on this, but if you are truly interested in it, then read and learn --- don't rely on others to tell you the truth of these things, but rather where to look to learn more for yourself...
good luck

Um...no. God created the earth for us to live on, giving us a free will. When Adam and Eve sinned, that made EVERYONE who ever was born and will be born automatic-sinners. Our world is so messed up now, God has to destroy it. I mean, seriously-- would you want to live on this place for all eternity? Heaven will be way better. God never wasted his time creating the earth. And otherwise, where would we live before we die??

From a human point of view, yes. Maybe not from God's point of view. And whoever told you God was going to destroy the earth was wrong. The Book of Revelation was never meant to be read as a map of the endtimes, or to talk about Jesus's 2nd coming.

I love the way your mind is thinking. Always question and ask when something does not make sense to you.
DO not allow cited scripture to be accepted as valid answers, let a logical one you think sounds correct to you decide what is correct and not correct.
I am quite happy here on Mother Earth or Gaia. I have heaven here, it is how you choose to live it that can make it heaven or hell. I have no delusions that there is any heaven waiting for me when I die, but I also say to those that do believe in it that for their sake I hope they are correct but I cannot believe it but I respect their right too so long as they respect my right not too.

God is giving the devil some freedom- I believe so all can see him for what he really is. However Satan will fall but the only reason Satan is in the fight at all is because not enough people resist Satan and his ways.

Not sure what you are getting at. So I will say this. God needs to change for his people because of the first flood that he done. God can see his mistakes which helps Him to help his people. God is different today to what He was when Noah was around.
