And are you using your gift/s in the world.

Thanks for your humour, I am looking for among those stated, gifts of a higher nature, abilities gleaned from perservance against odds, or understandings you have about things, that you don't know how you know, gifts of a mystical nature or things you have strived for and attained.
All of the above.
It is in this section because, gifts are of God.

Studious, I love your art.
I could feel the light and heart in it.

Wow, you are all so great, I would love to hold a gathering and we could all share our gifts which each other.

So many talented people, I can feel how much you have put into your answers.

I asked this question a few weeks back and got some people thinking....
It's sometimes hard to tell because it looks so much like tooting your own horn.

I'm told I have a lovely singing voice - I love to sing and sing in my church's worship band and anywhere else people don't tell me to shut up.

I can draw fairly well.

I am practical but not observant. I have a gift of putting my finger on the problem, and usually the solution, within minutes of someone describing it (the observant ones). So that tells me I work well in teams.

I have a great capacity to love, which I didn't know about myself for years as I whallowed in self pity and selfishness.

There are spiritual gifts as well, which I only use when prompted, but I won't go into that here.

You see Astro, we all have talents, they are gifts from God, or from Nature, or from your Genes, whatever you call them, and whatever your beliefs, We do all have talents, and blessed is the one who is able to find it, double blessed if he does something about it, and the blessing come to you in the form of Peace of mind, happiness, contentedness, self-esteem and one becomes a better human being, once you find this special Gift, develope it, and share it with others, and then you will find out what the True meaning of life is. spiritual gifts? or just talents?

well I have yet to know my spiritual gift

but as for my "talent/gift," I'd say it's empathy, because I think I have an unusually nice ability to feel how people are feeling. I guess that could also be my spiritual gift because it will help my connection with people....but yea, that's all I got so far

ah, if only I had more talent in tennis. XP.

am I using it in the world? not to my full extent, but I talk to people when situations come along...and I guess it helps me deal with my own situation as well

I have several talents:
cooking, singing, acting, writing, dancing, sewing, speaking in front of people

I have some spiritual gifts:
forgiveness, understanding, patience, open-mindedness, slowness to anger

I forgive very well, God has blessed me with the ability to forgive rather quickly. I'm very understanding, which requires patience, an open mind, slowness to judge, and good listening.

I say things that people get. Things that they get in their heart, things that mean something to them. It's not that I mean to tell them anything "special" in conversation but I've been told that what I've said had a meaning to them in what they were going through at the time. I believe in God and I believe that he uses us if we let him. I have one friend in particular that always gets much more out of conversations with me than I ever actually said. God is merciful and opens our eyes to things by relevance. I guess I believe that I'm a messenger but I'm not privy to the messages, just their recipients.

The idea that I have given someone a message that will help them, even though it's not known to me, makes me happy. I feel useful and I pray that I always say what people need to hear.

I have many things I do well, but I suppose my gift is to relate spiritual/esoteric/mystical things to others, and help seekers in the search of truth and out of their entanglements. That's what I would like to feel, that the light in what I write can touch people, hopefully.

According to Gardner's Multiple Intelligence, I think I posses more of the:

(1) Linguistic Intelligence because I could read, speak, listen and write very well in many languages and use them to communicate with people socially and professionally.

(2) Intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence because I konw my strengths and weaknesses very well such that I always seek improvement from time to time to re-adjust, learn/unlearn my behaviours and attitude. Also, I am able to use my excellent social and oratorical skills to win the support and trust of other people.

I think I've put in a considerableeffort to develop my "gifts". So, nurturing gifts alsoplay avital role for everyone to maximise their potentials and stretch their limits.

I am able to speak the language of your soul. I read, write and speak the language of the Universal Life Force as it is revealed through form. When teaching Tai-Chi and Kung Fu forms, I am able to read what issues, what demons are waiting to be released and cleared from your energy. When working Reiki energy, I am able to determine where your soul needs to find healing.

The language of our soul is expressed through form. We should all learn to speak this language that is the Reiki, the Tai-Chi, the Universal Life Force.
