Should i start a serious relationship with a good friend?

I have this good friend and lots of people think that we would make a good couple because we have a lot of chemestry, however im hesitant because i dont want to risk ruining our friendship. Any one have any advice?

the only person i would consider having a relationship with is a friend --- so if you are considerate and caring even if the relationship does not last you should still be friends
