I've heard of two things similar to this,

1. Parvovirus B19 is a human virus that can uncommonly cause fetal demise if it infects a pregnant woman. Parvovirus B19 is strictly a human illness, however, and is not related to parvoviruses that infect cats and dogs. I can see how it'd be easy to mix them up, however. Maybe that's where you heard about this?

2. Toxoplasmosis is a parasitic infection that can cause birth defects if it infects a pregnant woman. Toxoplasma can be found in cat feces so pregnant women are often advised to avoid these.

Haven't heard anything like a virus that causes infertility coming from animals, however.

Some things are true but don't believe in everything you hear or read about unless you've lived it or have proves.
