Can you all put your differences in beliefs aside as we all can try to pray (whether to God, Allah, Jehovah, Gods, Goddesses, Science, etc...) that hatred in all forms (racism, sexism, homophobia, culture, nationality) can just end and people just start loving each other regardless? While it may never end, let us all pray that things start turning for the better as humans :-)

My dear friend you have a point because Humanity is 'one' regardless of its differences. Let us then pray that, not things, but that humans themselves become more authentic to their better humanity in the least possible time; then things can only get better.

Peace

THAT is the most important question I have ever seen asked in this forum. Sadly; the answer is NO---for the most part; we cannot put our differences aside, nor can we agree to disagree and arrive at some middle ground. There ARE a few exceptions; of course....but for the most part; affirming that our "beliefs" are the RIGHT beliefs, and what we DO is the RIGHT thing to do seems to be the real issue here for so many. Holy wars throughout history affirm this. If the religious tension were suddenly removed from the world, and we were all a bit more tolerant, understanding, and accepting, just how much better off would the world be?? Seems to me we "sweat the details" and do not see the forest for the trees.

There are six billion people in this world and counting. Each and every one of them sins and blasphemes the Lord God every day. Can you imagine His pain? Can you imagine the betrayal and eternal sadness of having six billion people screw you over every day? My friend, I will join you in trying to put an end to hatred, but when it comes to a universal faith, I cannot help you. Things are going to get worse before they get better. Christ Jesus loves you, and wants to forgive you. "I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his ways and live," says the Lord God. Very soon now, the great deceiver shall rise up and take the nations by storm, preaching the very thing that you are, that all religions should come together. Do not be mislead. Find the truth in Jesus, and let it set you free.

I would hope that this was something that people of faith and even people who aren't' hope for every day. Whether we are people of faith or not to make the world better should be the actions of everyone who has a moral compass and who wants the good of mankind all over the world. I as a person of faith pray for this everyday and night so that my daughter's have a safe place to live in. IF they have a safe place than everyone else will also.

*** “Those Who Are Called ‘Gods’” ***

People in the first century—like many today—worshiped “those who are called ‘gods,’ whether in heaven or on earth.” Paul, in fact, said: “There are many ‘gods’ and many ‘lords’.” However, he also explained: “There is actually to us one God the Father,” and “there is one Lord, Jesus Christ.”—1 Corinthians 8:5, 6.

Who Is “the God of This World”?

Clearly, there are many gods. Some, as we have seen, are named in the Bible. Yet, people who saw Jehovah’s power long ago exclaimed: “Jehovah is the true God! Jehovah is the true God!” (1 Kings 18:39) Another god, however, also has power. The Bible says: “The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.”—2 Corinthians 4:4, King James Version.

The night before his death, Jesus three times warned his disciples about this god, calling him “the ruler of this world.” Jesus said this powerful ruler, or god, “will be cast out.” (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11) Who is this god, and what is the world over which he is the ruler?

He is none other than the rebel angel, Satan the Devil. How do we know? The Bible explains that when Satan tempted Jesus, Satan showed him “all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and he said to him: ‘All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.’” (Matthew 4:8, 9) This offer would not have been a temptation at all if Satan had been offering Jesus what Satan did not possess. Indeed, the apostle John declared: “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.”—1 John 5:19.

Recall that Jesus promised: “The ruler of this world will be cast out.” (John 12:31) In fact, this world, or system of things, along with its ruler, will be removed, as foretold by the apostle John when he stated: “The world is passing away.” However, John added: “He that does the will of God remains forever.” (1 John 2:17) Let us examine now the glorious purposes of the only true God and how we can benefit from them.
So to combine all of these different Gods together and to pray is not exceptable to God unless it is to the one anly true God Jehovah and we look to him and pray to him to end all of these terrible things soon. I really appreciat eyou trying to pull everyone together in love, but be very careful at asking someone to pray to the different Gods.

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Only what began can end. Law began.
Grace has neither beginning nor end.

When the God shew is ended as written, none perish.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Honestly, I think all, or at least most, who choose to follow a faith of one sort or another do it because they wish for peace.
