Last I heard the minimum wage was $.79 per hour in Algeria. That was in 2005. Is that still what it is?

No, this is just numbers depend on what's there in the Bank which is more than 70 billions dollares. The wage in Algeria is by day and most of people work for 6 to 20 dollars a day. Believe me that's the truth, I'm living that fact all the year.

I believe that the minimum wage is $138/Month (or 10,000 dinars/month). Considering the average work week is 37 hours, then that comes out to be ~$0.93 (or 63 dinars/month). These are just estimates based on information from the following website: http://www.state.gov/g/drl/rls/hrrpt/2005/61685.htm
