5'3"- basically, eat everything but adds up to 1100 cals/day-counting walks and such (i'm estimating 3 cals/min b/c i walk pretty fast), only nontropical fruits after 6pm.
as for exercise, i don't do anything but walk a lot, and i mean a lot by at least 1 1 1/2 hours everyday and i'm usually walking fast b/c i tend to always be running late =P...
okay, so i should be able to lose 2 lbs/wk on this diet, right? i figured it sounds about right based on what i read about weight loss

i appreciate the advice already given, but just to make things clear:
i'm not overweight, i'm just looking to lose 10 lbs
i only consume about 1300 max on non-diet days, so for me 1100 isn't really drastically low...i don't feel any hunger right now while i'm on the weightloss plan, so i'm not starving myself
and truthfully, i hate exercising for the sake of exercising so walking is it, take it or leave it lols

It sounds like a good plan but a suggestion would be to balance your servings in all food groups instead of eating everything.
3500 calories = 1 pound.
Find your daily calorie intake and work from there.
I was a college cross country runner in high school and college so I was use to all kinds of diets and excercises.
Good Luck!!

Nothing works similarly for everybody. I have indexed beneath, a few of my possess ways. Only you understand how your frame works, so you're going to have got to layout your possess plan. But, one fo the primary matters to bear in mind: DO NOT USE THE WORD DIET. You will likely be routinely telling your mind that you're depriving your self and can best broaden your want to devour. one million. Cut again on every day calorie and carb consumption. (My weak point used to be the carbs. The extra I ate the extra I craved.) two. Don't wholly deny your self of a favourite, no longer-so-well-for-you meals, you're going to best desire it extra. three. Limit meal quantities. Eat a few small foods an afternoon verses three giant foods, with small snacks in among. Giving your belly anything each two-three hours will broaden your metabolism (fats-burner, converts meals into vigor). four. Slow down whilst you devour. Most individuals devour so speedy that they don't provide the meals a danger to arrive the belly to ship indications to the mind that you're complete. five. Increase your every day endeavor, if even the slightest. Throw in a stroll down the block and again, or a stroll round your condo or workplace constructing. Make it practical, after which progressively broaden endeavor time. 6. Don't have unrealistic expectancies. Slow and constant weight reduction is less difficult to hold than fast weight loss. 7. Don't get locked on a quantity in your superb weight. The manner your garments are compatible and the way you notice your self within the reflect is a larger fact teller than any scale. If you do over indulge (type of tough to not with the vacations bobbing up), reduce a little bit for an afternoon or 2. eight. Don't ever disregard, You Are Beautiful. ?

Sounds good except for your calorie intake. I thought you had to take no less than 1200 cals a day. Walking is good but you should add more to your routine, like a stairmaster or eliptical machine. You could add aerobics or something like that and that would help you lose more weight. I'm trying to lose and I walk (for now) and take alot of supplements. I hardly eat but that's just me, I don't live to eat, I eat to live. So I don't eat alot of crap. (although I love Jack in the Box tacos!)

1100cal/day is way too little - to lose fat you only need to create a slight deficit in daily caloric intake otherwise all you will lose is water weight and muscle and slow down your metabolism contributing to yo-yo cycle.
you dont need to count calories burned doing exercises (walking) because your body needs 1200cal/day only for basic functioning (coma) so you need at least 1400cal/day if not more to lose fat.
Plus not eating after 6pm might make you gain weight because body goes into a little starvation mode when we go to sleep and you are only making it longer. Its been know for a long time now that it doesnt matter what time of the day you eat - as long as you dont consume more calories than spend during the day yoou are not gona gain weight.

You should never take in less than 1200 calories a day without your docs approval. So long as you burn more calories than you take in you will lose weight.,
