If the Holy Spirit cannot cohabitate with sin and we all sin, then He cannot cohabitate with any of us ever. Sin is sin.

The ones who were once enlightened were...you guessed it...the Hebrews. They had knowledge of God and Christ but had not gone on to perfection. Chapter 6 was convincing them that continual sacrifice was not effective anymore and that they were recrucifying Christ (which is impossible) if they continued in the old sacrifice system. Read hebrews 6,7,8,&9 as one letter and it all makes sense. your interpretation rips Hebrews 6 out of the letter as a freestanding commentary on modern Christianity. The application for us today is that God wants us to trust the Blood of Christ and not develop religious sacrifice systems as substitutionary to the power of the Blood.

With all due respect, only God can save and only God can destroy. If a man thinks he can destroy himself he is claiming God's glory every bit as much as if he believes he can save himself. I do tend to agree with your assertion that we are free to experientially know Christ by walking in the Spirit as a volitional act but would approach the truth from a slightly different angle. Thanks for your insight.

It is easier to understand the law than the teaching that your website offers and the thousands of like variations. So what is better about the new covenant? Does Christ want Grace to be a heavy yoke? The explanation you offer will ultimately cause the Bible tocontradict itself over and over and will cause confusion and self focus among the brethren.
Having said all of this I still believe you mean well and do not wish to harm anyone.

Sinning regular sins After your Saved and have done all that is in Hebrews 6:4,5,---can pull you so far away from GOD that you could possibly Commit Hebrews 6:6
which is Basically Telling Jesus that you do not Want HIM, Heaven, The Father, The Holy Spirit or AnyThing to do with Going to Heaven Any More.
The UnPardonable Sin is:
1. Being in a Spiritual Position to Even Be Able to Commit it
2. Then Committing the UnPardonable Sin by Telling Jesus that you do not Want HIM as your Saviour AnyMore.
Very Few Children of GOD have Comitted this sin, but it does happen.
When this sin is Committed, the Child of GOD's Spirit is Messed Back Up BIG TIME and he,she is Lost Again BIG TIME.
No Second Chances after that.
Sad.
Jesus would Die Again for those that have Comitted this Sin, but it is Written that Jesus can Only Die ONCE for US.
That is How Much JESUS Loves us.

The truth is within you, really it is. No. Sin is not stronger, but the will of the person whoso chooses has the right to do so in spite of the will of the Spirit, the Spirit will not coerce if the Spirit is willfully rejected.
"Jesus made it plain that he had come to establish personal and eternal relations with men which should forever take precedence over all other human relationships. And he emphasized that this intimate spiritual fellowship was to be extended to all men of all ages and of all social conditions among all peoples. The only reward which he held out for his children was: in this world--spiritual joy and divine communion; in the next world--eternal life in the progress of the divine spirit realities of the Paradise Father.
Jesus laid great emphasis upon what he called the two truths of first import in the teachings of the kingdom, and they are: the attainment of salvation by faith, and faith alone, associated with the revolutionary teaching of the attainment of human liberty through the sincere recognition of truth, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Jesus was the truth made manifest in the flesh, and he promised to send his Spirit of Truth into the hearts of all his children after his return to the Father in heaven. ..."
and
""Evil is the unconscious or unintended transgression of the divine law, the Father's will. Evil is likewise the measure of the imperfectness of obedience to the Father's will.
"Sin is the conscious, knowing, and deliberate transgression of the divine law, the Father's will. Sin is the measure of unwillingness to be divinely led and spiritually directed.
"Iniquity is the willful, determined, and persistent transgression of the divine law, the Father's will. Iniquity is the measure of the continued rejection of the Father's loving plan of personality survival and the Sons' merciful ministry of salvation. ..."

You've actually hit on a good point here. No, sin is not more powerful than the Holy Spirit. But, if we choose active rebellion against God, even after we are saved, then the Spirit that saves us will not cohabitate with sin. He'll leave you the same way God divorced Israel.
Simply put, God will not force you to accept him, and he won't remain where he's no longer welcome.

I would say that the gift of free will controls the outcome of the body. Your Spirit is riding in a vehicle who can deny the righteous path and choose to error by choice. God does not want robots. He wants your Love and obedience by your own free choice. Your choice for a sin free life is for your benefit, not God's. Your spirit must contend with the ego driven animal creature that can be tempted by darkness to destroy the temple. There is no sin that can enter heaven. Because of the blood shed for you on the cross, by the grace of God you are saved. You are assured a place in heaven by your faith in him, if you believe and ask forgiveness.
The place you go, will be as great as your sins or your goodness.
He said in his father's house, there are many dimensions.
He also said to store up your treasures in Heaven by keeping his word. It is only by your rejection of his sacrifice for you and turning your back on God that you can loose salvation. You do it to yourself. Jesus opened the gate. It is up to you to walk through it. Jesus said, by your faith you are made whole.
Your sins are forgiven, but will you be able to forgive yourself when you look at your book of life records ?

Sin in itself cannot make someone lose their salvation. Only after a person has been trained in God's word, and baptized in the Holy Spirit, and then rejects Christ, is their salvation lost. I go into the details here:

Sin doesn't cause us to lose our salvation. Who is with out sin? The wages of sin is death (separation from God) Sin is death to those not covered by the blood of the Christ. There is forgiveness with repentance and transformation. God has promised our sins will go into a sea of forgetfulness.
Praise God

Sin does will not cause you to loose your salvation. By your faith and obedience you are saved and not by your works
DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

Sin can't cause us to lose our salvation, dear one. God's Holy Spirit WITHIN us causes us to feel guilt and grief when we sin, thus repenting and asking God for forgiveness. God is a caring, loving Father and will always bring us back to Him once we choose to belong to Him by accepting Jesus as our Savior. And the Bible tells us that once we belong to Him, "NO man can pluck you out of His hand."
God bless you!

All Christians sin. We are all human. God doesn't un-save anyone. He gives us salvation, and He doesn't take it back.
When we sin after being saved, we will have to answer to God for those sins when we get to heaven. That is a different judgement than the one for unsaved persons. We will be ashamed of what we did, and will have fewer rewards in heaven, but we will still be in heaven. Sometimes, we pay for those sins before death. God says that whom He loves He chastises for their wrongdoings.
