someone took over my ebay account and sold like 3 fake items .so now i own 3 people like $600.but i havent email ebay to tell them b/c i dont think they will believe me .and this is my 3rd ebay account thats been taken over.they said i have to come up with it in 10 days .what do i do ? will i go to jail or will it go on my credit.

Take a deep breath and calm down.

Here's a link that should help. Just do not answer the e-mail, only forward it as an attachment to this link.

The address is www.spoof@ebay.com . They will investigate and report to you their findings. You probably owe nothing to anyone, but let them know about it and they will also direct you to tutorials teaching you ways to prevent this from happening again.

I get those mails now and then and just ignore them because they are not actually from ebay - at least the ones I got. They ask for account info and I suspect if I write that in the account would be abused - I haven't gone to ebay for some time now.
If youi go to ebay itself and report this, they will be able to straighten that out

Report it as a fraud, Ebay should be able to investigate it and at least show that it wasn't done on your computer.

On Ebay's home page there is "Live Help" Go there immediately and let them know.

i have been using e-bay since the beginning, and have never had a problem. have you given your pass word and log in to others? if you have set up a new account and don't let anyone know about it.

close your accounts, and dont worry if you are inocent prove it to the companys. and if you owe 1800. then make a payment and tell them what happened, it is best quess,
