Call a friend to comfort you, then call your local Al-Alnon which a support group for family members of alcoholics. See below for a link to Al-alon

Alcoholics can get bleeding in their throats and stomach due to damage from the alcohol. He needs to go to the hospital, if he won't go then there is nothing you can do for your brother; he is an adult and must look after himself.

Pray...I brother died at the age of 28 because of his addiction to drugs and alcohol. My parents tried to get him help and have him committed to a rehab, but the law said he was an adult who could make his own decisions. It might be to late if he is spitting up blood. He could be hemorrhaging or have major liver damage. My brother spit up blood until he died, but that never stopped him from drinking. Good Luck!

You need to go him, now. Find a way to get there, make arrangements and go. I hope that you were able to get him to call for an ambulance and get to the hospital. You go to him, he needs you.

I pray, that after this incident, if God is willing he will learn a lesson and get help with his drinking problem. I pray for you as well, remember God does not put any unneccessary burden, on us that we can not bear.

He needs to go to the hospital. He probably has esophageal varices caused by the drinking. It is a very serious condition.
He needs help soon as possible.

CALL 911 and get an AMBULANCE !!!! If you take him yourself...they'll make you wait and wait and wait. Remember the lady who died on the hospital waiting room floor? My son was burned..and they made him wait (till he pushed his way in). GO BY AMBULANCE...NOW !!!!!!! O,,he's 2ooo miles away..tell the others to call an ambulance. Surely they have done that already. Just PRAY.

Pray. I'll pray for him and you.
Psalm 34:4 - I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.
Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee, yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Psalm 31:24 - Be of good courage and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.
John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you , my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
