Damn!! I speak Basic, Fortran, LISP, Smalltalk, C, C++ (and just enough Jave to be -real- dangerous ☺) as well as a half-dozen or so assembly languages, but I've never even heard of vpython. Maybe I should get out more often ☺
But you'd write it like you'd write any other piece of code. Start with a definition of what it's going to do, turn that into a 'pseudo-code' representation (I -still- like flow charts, but I'm kind of a dinosaur ☺) and then do stepwise refinements until you have all the algorithm details worked out and you're ready to turn the pseudo-code into the final target language.
