If he is born again, then I guess he's 2x human, so he's allowed. And its very common.Masturbating is a good way of releasing the sexual tension which God gave us in the first place. It sure wins over promiscuity, spreading disease, or having sex with someone other than a spouse.

A woman is a woman and a man ain't nothing but a man.
All men are sexual, unless they are ill, depressed, impotent, etc.
Sexual release through masturbation would not be unsual for any man...including a Christian man.
Why do you expect him to be asexual?
You see hypocrisy, perhaps?
Perhaps you think Christian men are asexual, or supposed to be asexual, or they are hypocrites to their beliefs?

I don't know of any surveys that have been taken to answer your question but I do know what the Bible teaches and does not teach regarding this subject.
If you want to learn how to find out what the Bible calls sin and what it doesn't and how people make up things and say that the Bible calls it sin then check out this article on the subject of masturbation.

If he is just claiming and not actually a Christian then he masterbates the most, and probably on some real strong masterbating type illegal drugs. Other wise the born agains P.P. has already fallin off and that is why he is born again, hoping and praying for a new wee.wee!!!
sorry it took so long to type this entry, I was busy with the other hand.

Being born again means having the innocence of a child--babies don't judge others--nor masturbate for that matter.

it is common for a man to masturbate, regardless of which religion he professes or not, the only men who don't, can't....

I don't know if it's common, but I know it's the sin of lust. If a person was born again, they would try their best to please God... and not masturbate.
Repentance.
