Puffy bags under your eyes could be a result of genetics, lack of sleep, aging, infection or allergic reaction. If you are worried about under-eye swelling, try these steps to reduce swelling and keep you looking your best every day.

1) Elevate your head with an extra pillow when you sleep at night. This keeps the fluids from gathering under your eyes.
2) Apply a cooling face mask to the area. Cucumbers work as well.
3) Hold a cool, wet washcloth under your eyes for 15 minutes, which works similarly to using a cooling face mask.
4) Apply under-eye medication to reduce puffiness.
5) Rule out an allergic reaction by testing your facial products to make sure they are not causing puffiness.
6) Take medication for eye infections if this is the cause of swelling.
7)If you wear contacts, replace old or dirty contact lenses, which may be introducing bacteria to the area.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear that you shouldn't put body lotion under your eyes because its so heavy it can cause wrinkles and bags - if your using body lotion on your face switch to a face cream and use an eye cream around your eyes.
