I am not going say that I know prayer works, because I don't. The whole idea of "prayer working" is a seriously misleading idea about the concept in general anyway.
This is the biggest problem of people arguing that something like "prayers being answered" or not. For starters both sides are not truly arguing the point being discussed. Both sides are trying to prove of disprove the existence of god. This will make the argument hollow and hurried, both sides jumping to conclusions before they really have made a good case.
Prayer as far as I know is never supposed to "work," even from a Christian perspective. Prayer is supposed to be about trust and creating peace of mind, not about getting what you want. Any Christian will say that praying for $1000 is not going to ever get you $1000. Prayer frankly never really changes anything except your state of mind.
If you are a soldier and you prey something like, "God, please keep my safe in the battle that I am about to enter," you are not anymore likely to live except that you have a clear and peaceful mindset and may be less distracted by fear. A mindset that is excepting of what ever is about to happen. It is basically like saying, "God, I trust your choices in the face of death. If I die that so be it. It is what was meant to be." If the soldier dies, he died with peace of mind; if he lived, he doesn't come away weakened by the vulnerability of his experience.
So, when you look at it that way the milk jug could do the same thing. Except, no one thinks a milk jug can do that, because it can be seen and understood. Even if god is imaginary, that video makes no progress in proving it. It is a misconception that to think prayers are answered in "Yes, No, and Wait," to start with.

Oh my gosh that was one of the most boring videos I have ever watched in my life.
Here is the huge hole in that stupid little video. The jug of milk has no ability to give out personal revelation of its divinity or of the answers to prayes to it. God does have that ability and you can never ever disprove that another person has ever had it because it is personal revelation.
Noone can prove God or disprove God to another person.

The funny thing is that story was the illusion.
I especially enjoyed the "your smart" flattery illusion.
Man, that devil can be charming.

This video only dis-spells that God doesn't answer prayers; it has no answer for the existence of a God that may not answer prayers.

Your profile states, "I'm an atheist. We're not that bad."
I find the posting of your "question" this way unkind.
