First of all, you should never treat a viral infection with antibiotics. It sounds to me like she has an inflamed gall bladder that's making her vomit and have a fever. The antibiotics are giving her the diarrhea. Either way, she need to see a doctor, not a nurse. I realize that is difficult with the NHS being what it is. Keep a watch on her eyes. If they start turning yellow get her to the A&E at a hospital because that means her liver is being damaged by all the paracetamol.

In the mean time, have her stay away from any animal fats like butter, cheese, eggs, milk with cream, spicy foods, and sausages.

Check here a very effective Sciatica Natural Treatment ( http://cure-sciatica.info )
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica.

Cholecystitis, an inflammation/infection of the gallbladder caused by gallstones fits your description.

Take the woman to an Emergency Department for diagnosis and medical treatment. Often the initial attack can be treated by hydration, pain and nausea relief with good results in the Emergency Department.

A surgeon will be consulted while the symptoms are brought under control. Normally after the acute episode is corrected elective surgery will be scheduled to remove the gallbladder and stones.

Evaluation by a physician is indicated regardless of the diagnosis.

My advice: see a doctor. While nurses can be competent and assist with minor to moderate maladies, a medical doctor is obviously needed in this case.
