i have my own opinion on this but i wanna hear what you have to say

wisdom comes with experience. but if you're smart, you just know things. but may not be able to apply it.

A smart person has the knowledge of people previous to him/her.

A wise person has the wisdom of people previous to him/her.

A smart person can get him out of trouble by a combination of solutions that others came up with in similar situations.

A wise person can get him out of trouble by a solution nobody else have thought of.

To me, the word "smart" refers to knowledge of facts. On the other hand, "wise" refers to the wisdom that can only comes from experience and care.

A smart person makes nuclear bombs. A wise person avoids the situation that will cause him to need one in the first place.

A smart person knows many things, but does nothing with them; and some of them may be useless facts
A wise person knows many things that he applies to his own life and learns from.
