know that people say to give compiments, but if everyone knows that if a guy who has only talked to you once or twice then just walzes up and says "You have beautiful eyes" then he likes you. I mean it, everyone knows this. So how do i start a conversation that leads her to want to giv me her number?

I like her a lot, she goes to my church, is a christian, and is very beautiful, but i cant figure out a not-so-obvious way of doing it, you know subtle.

i just need a few pointers as to where i can talk to her, what should the first things i say to her be, and how do i move at to getting her #?

Thanks for all your help on the matter.

Does your church have any youth fellowship groups or special activities for teens? Does the church ask people to volunteer to do things in the church or community? If so, maybe you could ask her if she planned to do that. If she says yes, tell her you are too, and look forward to seeing her there. Or, even ask her if she needs a ride? Are there school activities you could talk to her about? Then you could ask her to do something school related.

Don't ask for her number. Ask her if she'd like to go out with you.

You don't need to compliment her or anything like that. Just asking her out is a compliment and it tells her you're interested. Why risk looking corny like your using a pick up line.

Look her in the eye and say "Would you like to go out with me sometime?" If she says yes. Then say something really positive, it's ok to look excited, and say "can I have your number to call you?" If she says not to the number then make a plan. Any coffee shop is good.

The only way you can improve on this most simple plan is to find someone who knows her to introduce you.

If she's a christian she will most likely be glad that another christian is asking her out.

Be willing to accept if she says no. Don't feel weird or take it badly. She might have a boy friend or her parents might not let her go out with guys. If she says no just look for opportunities to talk with her and see if you can connect.

Pray before and after. You should be praying about this every day. Ask God for his blessing and strength.

You go to the same church so try to sit next to her in church. This way you can worship together---singing, passing the collection plate, and also talking. At the end of service ask if you can walk her out, once outside, be direct. tell her you like her and would like her number so you can call and talk to her.----say we can not talk properly here at church so I will call you ;what is the best time to call. When you now talk to her don't forget to compliment her and invite her out to a movie or a dance.and get to know her. I hope it works out for you and you are able to build rapport between the two of you.
