I don't think that idea is totally impossible to believe. Jesus was a man and I am sure he had desires as a man. Supposedly Mary Magdalene WAS a disciple and the book of Mary was destroyed or buried beneath the Vatican by the "editors" of the first bible because it made Jesus more of a mortal man and not a man of God. To me this makes the bible more believable because being a woman I know the darkness in mens hearts toward women in history and women of power in general. Plus Mary was said to be a prostitute but that has also been hotly debated but would have also been a reason for the editors not to want her book and the relationship between her and Jesus to be passed down. When I think about how women have been treated throughout history it makes me sick.

In the Gospels, it refers to one of the disciples as "the disciple that Christ loved."
This makes many Protestant and Evangelical Christians think it is a reference to Mary Magdalene, because obviously, Jesus Christ would have loved all his apostles..but this one stood out.
Catholic scholars in the employ of the Vatican do not agree with that.
However, the Bible does not give any information about Jesus Christ marrying Mary Magdalene and having a daughter.
That is legend, as conveyed in the book "The DaVinci Code." And before that, in the book "Holy Blood/Holy Grail"

wasn't there it's the message not the messenger and if I was over two thousand years old I'm quite sure the lack of historical record and reliance on hearsay is indicative of much to be desired in the way of reliability ..... and is very much different from the real story . contrived is the operative word for the exploitative efforts of formal religion and the bible they abridged.

Believe whatever your emotions tell you to believe. You're going to anyway. What do you need logic and reason for?

Biblically, the idea doesn't have a leg to stand on. But then, you're not interested in what the bible says. You're obviously more interested in fiction.

The DaVinci Code was a good book, very interesting... but it was a fictional book nonetheless. I'm not saying it's impossible, but don't believe everything you're told, whether it's from Dan Brown or the Bible...

No. The Scripture makes NO reference to Jesus loving in the romantic way , ANY of his female followers. He was NOT married. Given that He wasnt married, they had no children. Had this been the case, Im sure the scripture would have mentioned it.

Have you been watching the De Vinci Code again??? jk I thought it was a good "movie". However there is no evidence in Bible to suggest that.
