Refuse to feed into it by thinking about it and nursing the hurt feelings. CHOOSE to forgive as God in Christ HAS FORGIVEN YOU.

That always does it for me.

We'd have to know how it got hurt. The most obvious way is to undo whatever happened to injure you spiritually. If that is not possible, then the change must come from inside you.

Spiritual growth consists of two simultaneous and inextricable journeys: a journey upward from wherever you happen to be seated at the moment to the throne of God (whatever that means to you), and a journey downward into yourself. The latter is usually more difficult and painful, as we must deal with all the worst stuff about ourselves along the way.

It may take the form of prayer and meditation, or psychotherapy and counseling. It takes as long as it takes, and no one can tell you when to stop grieving except yourself.

Often spiritual pain is a left-handed gift given to us to make us embark on our journeys. Don't go it alone. Friends will appear when you need them and want them. Take along a well-adjusted Doggie if you can.

And go in peace...

I am not certain exactly what you mean, but I suppose that what you mean is, How do I get rid of hurt feelings, or being hurt by another person. All that I know to tell you is to just to pray for the one who has hurt you, and choose to love them anyway; and it will pass. If a person has truly hurt you, they will have to pay for it further down the road. We all get our feelings hurt from time to time. But all that we can do is just to pray to God to help us overcome the hurt feelings.

Stop judging the situation and see it as a valuable lesson that you needed.

Then it becomes a gift.
