yes there is. it is kind of the basis for a small chunk of the bible. the assumptions is that there is only one god and he created only the heavens and the earth, and not too much else.
of course this is a small minded view of the universe.
some people need to get some perspecive, really how small is our planet compared to the biggest sun out there? let alone how small is one person?

There are at least 2/3 of the "Stars of Heaven" which didn't follow Satan. Those Stars make up the vastness of The Universe, and are most likely just as Earth was before The Fall.

Therefore, yes, I do believe that there is life throughout The Universe. Perfect, sinless life in full fellowship with Almighty God.

No, I believe that there is other life out there. Possibly there might be rational life;. We do not know. It might also be a form of life superior to ours. This would introduce some very interesting questions about whether these beings are subject to the same original sin of Adam, and whether they share in the benefits of the cross. I believe that a great deal has already been written on this subject over the last 60 years by theologians. It is not a new issue.

it's not a matter of belief, except for Mormons and a few others like the Raelians and Scientologists. There is no scientific proof or evidence at all for other life in the universe. I know 'the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence', but it would be unreasonable to say 'there must be life out there'. The very limited knowledge we have of other planets in our solar system indicate that those planets do not have life on them.
As a Christian I would have no problem with it, but it is a matter of evidence, isn't it.

How can't we believe something that we are not told. There may well be life elsewhere in the universe but it is obviously God's choice not to tell us for our own benefit. We have plenty to be going on with, be concerned about that.

You can be a Christian and still think that there is life out there. The Bible said God owns the universe not just our ball.

I am an Evangelical Christian.
The universe is incomprehensible. We cannot imagine something as vast as the universe.
We can look at pictures of our own galaxy. And far, far beyond our own galaxy, so far it would make a tip to the sun seem close, are other galaxies.
It is quite incomprehensible.
So, could life be out there, way out there, if not in our galaxy, in some other one?
Probably.
But they are so far away...so very far away....their technology would have to be unimaginably advanced to reach us; or us to reach them.
I knew a guy who wrote for years for a UFO magazine. He confessed that everything was made up and all the pictures were faked. So don't go believing that visitors are here!

Who's to say God didn't create life on other planets....Maybe there is a place where they NEVER fell, never sinned and had no need for Jesus atonement. Maybe we (earth) are off-limits to them like the tree in the Garden was for Adam and Eve.

I am a Christian, believe other life in the universe.
God is everywhere, why not in the universe creating other beings?

of course there are...and they think we are at the center of the universe too, and that the world is flat, and gays and contraception are'evil' and that god is a bearded man who does horrible things to everyone but 'loves' you after, and whoever disagrees with anything they say will go to HELL!!!!
personally, i think they are already living in a little hell of their own...slaves to the system
