Unfortunately the following website is not well staffed (or funded) but it is a good counter to talkorigins and is very informative about talkorigins BS.

Creationism is a at the same time true and a mistake because they realy think that it happens in 6x24 hours.
But Peter said "Dont forget beloved that for God, a day may be thousand years and thousand years are worth one day"
This means that 1E-43 seconds (0. 42 zeros1 sec.) which is the Big Band is The First Day and 9 Billion years from the appearance of the first unicellulars life to now is 1 day too...
and on this 6th day, the creation evoluted
The second mistake is that in Genesis, a translation error happend when they say that "the spirit of God was over the water" instead of the "waves" wich means the original radiation of the black matter composing 99.99% of the Universe.
The third mistake is that God created man before woman because the woman is XX and God took a rib af the woman to make of her a man wich is XY.
Crazy, isn'it

No I am not skeptical about evolution. I am only disappointed that not many people are able to accept it as creditable prof of where we come from. But more concerned is that religious groups want to get rid of teaching evolution to the point of not ever being heard of.

Anybody who is not skeptical about any theory is not a scientist. That's what science is all about, a skeptical continuance to verify new and old theories, no matter how well founded, as evolution is.

i'm skeptical in proportion to the lack of evidence for particular evolutionary scenarios. that evolution occurs though, is as sure as that gravitation occurs. common descent seems well supported for smaller groups such as vertebrates, and remains a reasonable hypothesis for all life on earth.

About as skeptical as I am about gravitation.
I am convinced that there are still gaps in our knowledge about both evolution and gravitation - but not completely understanding a phenomenon does not make it untrue.
