The bible teaches that Almighty God the Father has exactly ONE personal name: "הוהי", an expression known academically as "the Tetragrammaton". These Hebrew characters are generally transliterated into English as "YHWH". In practice, "Yahweh" or "Yehowah" is the Hebrew pronunciation and "Jehovah" is the English translation of that Divine Name.
Sadly, the disappointing convention of the "King James Version" and too many other bibles is that "LORD" (in all capitals) replaces nearly every one of the almost SEVEN THOUSAND occurrences of the Divine Name. The bible uses "Jehovah" or "הוהי" to refer to Almighty God more times than God, Father, and Lord put together.
Rather than 7,000 times, the King James Version uses the name "Jehovah" a mere four times (Exodus 6:3; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 12:2; 26:4). A few place-names which include "Jehovah" are also left intact (see Genesis 22:14; Exodus 17:15; Judges 6:24).
The shortened form of "Jehovah" is "Jah". KJV uses "Jah" at Psalm 68:4, and within the exclamation "Hallelu-jah" (or "Alleluia"), which literally means "praise Jah" (see Revelation 19:1-6).

In Hebrew it's Yahweh,
In English it's Jehovah,
In Spanish it's Jehova.
Words such as God and Lord are titles.
To destingush between a name and a title add the article 'the' in front of it.
You can say The God,
You can say The Lord,
Thus these words are titles and not names
But The Jehovah is not correct.
Thus Jehovah is the name of God.
Please note:
Why did the recently published “New International Version” (NIV) of the Bible fail to use the name of God where it appears about 7,000 times in ancient Bible manuscripts? In response to a person who inquired about this, Edwin H. Palmer, Th.D., Executive Secretary for the NIV’s committee wrote:
“Here is why we did not: You are right that Jehovah is a distinctive name for God and ideally we should have used it. But we put 2 1/4 million dollars into this translation and a sure way of throwing that down the drain is to translate, for example, Psalm 23 as, ‘Yahweh is my shepherd.’ Immediately, we would have translated for nothing. Nobody would have used it. Oh, maybe you and a handful [of] others. But a Christian has to be also wise and practical. We are the victims of 350 years of the King James tradition. It is far better to get two million to read it—that is how many have bought it to date—and to follow the King James, than to have two thousand buy it and have the correct translation of Yahweh. . . . It was a hard decision, and many of our translators agree with you.”

Do we believe we are the only ones who know and use God's personal name? No. However, if you hear someone repeatedly use the name "Jehovah," who would people associate you with? Yes; Jehovah's Witnesses.
A simple question deserves a simple answer, right? Then why do we have a rant from Suzanne about her unchristian hatred for Jehovah's Witnesses? Isn't God's name in the KJB, a Bible that most people swear by? So why the big display of bigotry and prejudice by an obviously disgruntled ex-witness? That certainly doesn't sound Christian to me. What's got her ticked off?

Yes. He actually has several names that mean several things. But I am assumming that you mean the story from ancient Hebrew texts that speak of two seperately created females. And the first wife of Adam spoke the " Secret " name of God.
That no one since has ever known. Except for Christ.

Yes. And Jehovah's witnesses take that name and run with it. They use it as an emblem to try to prove their own righteousness. They use it as a sales slogan. They use it as a mind control tool.
They also believe that they are the only ones who know or use that name. That's not true. I have done random surveys of Christians, many of whom told me that not only did they know the name but regularly used it.
But one notable thing Jehovah's witnesses have done is use that name to the point that many associate the name with them. So people who find problems with the principles and conduct of Jehovah's witnesses -- anything from the annoyance of the door-knocking to the aberrant blood issue to the protection of child molesters -- have come to associate bad things with the name "Jehovah." Nice job.
