Why do so many people believe in this global warming stuff, but not in God?

Because humans are arrogant and self centered. Global warmist is a religion and you cannot be Roman Catholic and a global warmist at the same time. We have no more ability to change the weather on earth than we have the ability to change the weather on Pluto. Global warming needs to be classified as a religion by the US gov't. This will effectively end funding for this cruel hoax because of separation of church and state laws. To the person above. Actually global warming has been proven by ALL REPUTABLE sources to be a hoax so even faith alone can't help your cause. Common sense tells you that some God exists and I KNOW that God to be the God of the Roman Catholic Church.

They belive in Global Warming because it is very serious!In 25 years from now Global Warming is going to kill about 3000,000 peoploe each year and glaicers are melting and almost all the land is going to to be flooded!! I am doing some reaserch on Global Warming for a project in school(I am a 7th grader)and WE could do something to stop it! We are going to die by HEAT WAVES and our O-Zone layer is not going to last long because of polluted air (which is cause by:cars,tvs, etc)in my school if we win a science project we will be in TV so I am going to do the best to win and to stop Global Warming with ur help or not and yes people do belive in God it depends on thier reiligion I belive in God alot but in science too!

Why do so many people believe in global warming and not God? MAYBE ALL THE PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN GLOBAL WARMING BELIEVE IN GOD! That is a joke. It seems, as one republican said who was manning a booth outside a store, "Oh, I don't care about global warming, I just want to be rich!". And Bush says he believes in God, and global warming. He just doesn't seem to want to DO anything about it, except talk.
I don't think that you can say, that all who believe in Global Warming do not believe in God, or the other way either.
It's not like oil and water.

Ever since the Secular Enlightenment, it has been popular to disbelieve in God.
Call it popular athiesm, as opposed to Soviet Athiesm, which was driven into the people.
Popular athiesm is here to stay. Many people close their minds and hearts to the Lord.
They do not believe in the reward of heaven, nor in the punishment of hell. They believe in nothing but humanity, and themselves.
They are much like the people who built the Tower of Babel.
There will probably always be towers of babel.
Global warming does not mean everyone will die. It means that the face of the earth will change. The seas will rise and the land will recede. Great coastal cities will be submerged, likely. Islands will shrink. The economic impact of this lost of prime real estate is unfathomable.

start partying 6months before the end and many may not even make it .
not much else you can do

And if there was a God he either made global warming ,which would make him a destroyer of life ,not a savior
or
he is incompetent and let it happen or can do nothing about it .
either way God comes out looking bad .
May be hell is full up and he is bringing Hell 2 to Earth to save moving everybody around ,which means all of us will go to hell ,
so you see Partying is the most sensible thing to do .

Man made global warming, while unlikely, still may be occurring, whereas "God" is purely a construction of insecure peoples desires and ignorance.

I find that a lot of people believe it because the government says it's true, and it is taught in schools (Hey, not like they've ever been wrong or anything.. >_>). A hundred and fifty years ago, three hundred years ago, etc. there were a lot more people who believed in God, because that is what they were taught and had enforced in their society (or so the textbooks say..)

because if you believe in god you have to go to church every Sunday. If you believe in Global warming you can think your making a difference by driving a hybrid.
Plus there is some evidence that its true. There's absolutely no proof in the bible, and actually a lot of proof against it
