u know how when u put a little bit of water into cornstarch, how the cornstarch gets hard when its moved, but turns into liquid if u leave it alone? how do i do dat same experiment without cornstarch?

Potato flakes and water or flour and water. But to be honest nothing works better than cornstarch and water.

there are many starches you can use .. potato, rice, tapioca .. try your local Asian supermarket
