either they don't sell beer in the township or they don't want to buy a liqueur license to sell it,lot a taxes they might not think its worth it

You've got to know the secret word to get to the hidden room with the alcohol. This week it is "I like to eat my own earwax." Whisper that to the clerk and he'll take you to the boose room.
