Please be honest, I was having a long distance relationship with this guy, in a way the distance was nice because we were getting to know each other which now a days people don't take the time to do...We talked about everything my kids etc. I became very attached to him but we had a fall out communication ceased for 9 months, I was hurt but eventually I began to move on. He recently sent me a text which explained that he was just involved in a 6 month relationship with someone who also was a single mom....which he will never do again
(be involved with a single mom) he went on to say that if we had gotten involved it probably won't have worked (I guess because of the kids) and wasn't I glad that he discovered this through another? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? After so many months why would he text me this? Now I'm hurt all over again. Does this mean that he saved me from being hurt?? Help!!

It sounds to me like he just wants to open old wounds and he gets off on hurting people. People don't change, he will leave you again and again and each time it will hurt a little more. My advice would be to not reply and to move on, even go as far as to change your mobile. Get rid, he is bad news.

He's probably just angry at the recent girlfriend and taking it out on you. I would totally ignore him since things didn't work out between you anyway. The fact that you hadn't been communicating for 9 months and he texts you out of the blue with something so negative indicates that' he's a loser anyway. He's right about one thing- it wouldn't have worked.

Good question why would he have two relationship with two different people?.. find someone in real life dont talk and text in long distance relationships it just doesnt work. you need contact.. communication.. attractiveness etc.. not just a guy to raise your kids..

your lucky you didnt meet him first.and can you imagine the pain he put her through? the Cyber world is exactly that!Find a man you can see face to face then deciede if he's the one for you.
