Actually, running will somewhat make you shorter because you legs are pounding against the ground. Think about it, if you are constantly running and your feet in pounding on the ground, it will start compressing your leg, thus stunning a bit of your growth.

However I do agree that running is very healthy to do.

If you want to do sport in which you get taller, i suggest basketball or swimming. Due to the fact that you are constantly stretching your body.

well, it more so makes you more fit, healthier, skinnier..don't believe taller, but stretching after running stretches ur muscles, and i guess that can make you taller.

I think it made me shorter. Of course I was running ultras, maybe that's why.
