It's a personal thing if you want to shave your body hair.
At the salon I work men come in for waxing either full body or just back or chest.
If you do shave at home just make sure that you moisturise afterwards and exfoliate to stop ingrown hairs and if you go into a salon they would tell you the same thing.
If you do want to get rid of some body hair do it for you and nobody else and their is no need to be embarrassed by it.

Honestly i think it depends on how much hair a guy has. If he does seem to have a lot, then it would be best to either shave it or trim it. For me, I prefer a guy to have a clean shaven face, and nicely trimmed hair on his body. To me, the hair on his body makes him more masculine and sexy.

As a regular dude, I only shave my face. I had a friend though who would shave his whole body, but it was only for athletic reasons

Shave whatever you want!
I know people who don't shave their faces at all, and then guys who shave everything, and guys who only shave certain places.
Whatever the guy is comfortable with.

People aren't "supposed to "shave anything they don't want to. Swimmers shave their body hair to reduce friction.
It's up to the individual whether he shaves or doesn't shave.

it all depends on what the guy wants, im guessing most girls like for the guy to be trimmed
