I hear just as many say you can't spot reduce as you can spot reduce.

Respected opinions on both side....
Who is telling the truth?!?

I recently read a fitness article that found that you CAN spot reduce. I guess they found out that when working specific muscles, the cells in those muscles were more efficient at burning the fat in the area. But doing cardio is gonna burn more calories faster and have a bigger impact on your body fat percehntage than wasting time spot reducing. Ex. If you are trying to lose some fat off your stomach, cardio (running) will do more for you than sit-ups.

Any qualified and reputable source will tell you you can't spot reduce.

The fat comes off all over the body and doesn't burn off specific parts.
