I've been on Vicodin for about 4 years. It's past time for me to STOP. My habit is illegal and it's expensive. I've tried on line pharmacies and they screwed me over bad. I can't do it anymore. I take Tramadol, which is sort of a mood enhancer and that seems to be making the withdrawals easier. When I take nothing I feel like I wanna die! It's not hard for me to get Tramadol because I have an Rx for it and it's non narcotic. What I"m wondering is, I do have some Wellbutrin, it's a mild (I think mild) antidepressant. Do you think think this will help with the severe depression? I'm so depressed and sick and cranky from this. It's only been one day! And my head hurts so bad it's going to explode. On top of everything I have a severe sinus infection and now that I have no PK, I really feel it! Ugh. I have children who don't need to see this. Any serious advise? Anyone been through this? What helped? I WON"T go to the Dr. and tell him about this so... not an option. Thanks all!

Tramadol and Wellbutrin work in very similar ways. You have to be careful taking them together because there is a risk involved. It could, rarely, lead to serotonin syndrome. You need to go to a doctor because it'll take weeks for the antidepressant to work. If your sinus infection is bacterial, you'll need an antibiotic prescription from your doctor.
