I hear stories of guys lasting 30 seconds etc on their first time... surely it's possible for some guys to take it off a bit better than that from imitating porn or just trying hard not to be crap?

Ok look no matter what anyone tells you, your first time is going to be strange no matter what. I have been with a few and no matter what they kinda don't know what they are doing. You can watch 100 porn movies and that is not going to make you good the first time. If you want to last you first time you should do it yourself first then have sex. Don't try to be like porn it does not work very well. Make sure the person that you do it with knows your a virgin, trust me it's better that way.

From my experience and of others I've heard, the answer to that is no a virgin can't be good his first time. Nerves get the best of you so it makes it hard to perform. I guess the only thing that can help is to be mentally ready to do what you are about to do and you'll do fine with your performance. If you worry that she may not like what you are doing, then you are just gonna ruin it for yourself and for her. Just go with the flow but above all make sure you are truly ready. My husband was a virgin on our wedding night. Our first time was crap, but by the end of the weekend he was proficient. Now, after 7 years of marriage...he's like a god.

What's the big deal? You do realize, don't you, that the first time is really the first of many? Man/Woman shall not be judged by his/her first time alone. Chill out and let it flow. Remember, first of many not first and last(no pun intended).

The key is - think about the girl, and doing everything you can to make this a wonderful experience for her. Worry about her feelings, her sensations, focus on her - and you'll find you do great. If you need to slow down - say so, and do it - it's not a sprint, it's a marathon. Focus on her and it will be wonderful.
