they don't want to be bossed around by another sibling, someone who doesn't have real authority over them like their parents do.

If they are older, then they act like they dont care, and dont really think to notice that there younger siblings need someone to listen to them.

because they just feel like they have no right to tell them what to do. They dont see them as someone who has authority I would never listen to my sister if she tried bossing me around who wants to be told what to do right? Especially by someone who isn't seen as an authority figure.

it's got a lot to do with pride. trust me, i hv 2 siblings and i will never ever listen to either one.
