What does Aristotle mean by "a good life"?

Socrates never went into the meaning of good, Aristotle tried to take it to the next level by further defining the good. A good life, or doing the good, will it turn be good for the person doing the good things. Generally, one will want to do the good, so they could have a "good life". A good life would essentially mean a happy existence.

Everything in moderation.
That and an upper middle class life : )
