Jesus spoke in parables because there is no way for the worldly to understand anything SPIRITUAL. Fools loved to be fooled and we know there's nothing like getting a new tune-up for $600.00. Some PhDuhs think their "words" are "little gods".

Jesus said:

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." - John 6:63.

God is never separated into separate Beings.

1Jo 5:7,8 KJV - For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

The Spirit is GOD'S Spirit who knows God in the same way as humans because we are made in HIS image.

Which things also WE speak, not in the words [LOGOS] which mans wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1 Corinthians. 2:13 KJV.

The Holy Spirit or "another Comforter" is NAMED Jesus Christ the Righteous. The Spirit of God is the MIND of Christ:

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 KJV.

If one thinks of the Son as a product of "generation" then He is NOT eternal and they may be ANTI-christ.

These Three are One and NONE of them are "PEOPLE". If one begins to think of their WORDS as "little people" I would surely get help.

Well, not all people who claim that are schizophrenic, but that IS a sign of schizophrenia and the 'manic' portion of severe manic depression. My adoptive mother was manic depressive and schizophrenic. I don't mean the kind of manic depressive who can take a prozac every day and be fine. I mean they kind who was court ordered to take major medication and who was committed manditorily... MANY, MANY times into psychiatric hospitals. Yes...thinking God is speaking directly to you through the television, or through your pet or through any other venue...can absolutely be a sign of schizophrenia and mania (where the word MANIC comes from).

No, it means that they feel an inner leaning towards something through the power of the Holy Spirit that a Christian receives upon believing in Christ and asking for and receiving it through faith. It will open your eyes to spiritual discernment in that you look at everything that goes on in the world differently. It also enables you to understand scripture. It is a part of Heaven already in you and you have the mind of Christ-God on earth.

If one does not have this relationship, it might sound like it. God communicates with us with His Word.

God doesn't audibly talk to us as He did in the old testament to the prophets. He does convey His word thru the bible.
