A small hamburger with mustard and a small bun. Pickles and lettuce and tomatoes. Just load it up with the vegetables and you will be fine. A small burger with bun should be around 360 calories.~

Actually, either can be perfectly fine depending on what sort of hot dogs, buns and hamburger meat are used. If it's plain white buns, regular hot dogs and only God knows what kind of hamburger meat, go with the hamburgers.

Just because the food is there, doesn't mean you have to eat it. If the hamburgers and hot dogs are from conventional sources, I would avoid both. You could bring a veggie burger and/or dog. My husband who is a meat eater, but slowly sampling veggie "meat" likes the Boca Italian style "sausages" on a charcoal grill. (He also likes the Morningstar Farms corn dogs and veggie sausage links, but that's not really relevant to this topic.)

If you feel as though you "have to" have something, take a small portion of it. One day isn't going to blow anything.

Definetely a hamburger, no question. And if you are really serious, eat it plain with ketchup no bun.

Why not take along some salad and leave out the bun or something?
